Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the oldest trekking trails of the Everest region which will provides us an great  opportunity to explore and observe the stunning landscape of Solukhumbu District as well as the panoramic views of Himalayas, verdant forest . Our journey begins with 188km drive to Jiri from Kathmandu towards our ultimate destination.  

Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek is antique and may be lengthy but this trail offers glorious  views of the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Thamserku , Mt. Lhotse . We also have a glimpse of mountains side with typical culture of Sherpa community. Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek starts with a road journey from Kathmandu to Jiri . This trail passes through Soulkhumbu and valley of Gokyo following the path of the medieval Trans –Himalayan trade route. Everest Base Camp Trek is 175 km far away from Jiri via Namche Bazaar, which is filled with spectacular mountain scenery, prominent Buddhist monasteries, and lush valleys rivers flowing from the mountain ridges graze by the mother glaciers. Comparatively, the trail will begin from low lands therefore it will be the best chance for acclimatization and exploration throughout villages and glaciers of the Khumbu region.  This trek will take you the  apex of the world highest peak Mt. Everest (8,848m) up to the Base Camp (5,357m) from the sea level.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu.

You are welcome to Himalayan country Nepal . The Kathmandu city capital of Nepal. We meet our guests at the Tribhuvan International Airport. A representative will be waiting with placard with our guests’ names displayed. The Bulkventure staff , dropping your Hotel . checked in hotel you will have trekking brief preparing for trekking permit and Trekking needs . In the evening, guests are invited to a Welcome Dinner at a Nepali culture restaurant. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2Sightseeing in Kathmandu and trip preparation.

After breakfast start your city sight seen Inside Kathmandu Valley (Temple of city ) historical monuments,(world Heritage Site ) Hindu Temples, and Buddhist Stupas/Monasteries, sightseeing. Sightseeing may include the Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupati, Boudhanath, , and the Swoyambhunath areas. sightseeing Starting usually at 8:30am, the exploration of Kathmandu Valley can continue until 4.00pm. Lunch you will have one the way to city sightseeing overnight at Hotel .

Day 3Kathmandu to Jiri (1,950m) - 9/10 hrs drive

Today, we will have a drive for around 8-9 hours from Kathmandu to Jiri over a separation of 187km. It may be a dubious yet pleasant entire day’s transport ride up the Sun-Koshi stream valley to the town of Jiri. Jiri is the biggest settlement of the Jirel individuals, a Tibeto-Burman individuals with social connects to the Sherpa and Sunuwars. over night stay at Guest house .

Day 4Trek from Jiri to Deurali (2,710m) - 6 hrs trek

We start rising to the edge top at 2400m and grade down to Shivalaya (1800m). We proceed onward through developed fields and little Tamang towns. Day 5Trek from Deurali to Sete (2,520m) - 7 hrs walk

From Deurali, the fundamental trail falls in a straight line down the slope. Coming to at the fringe of Bhandar (2200m), you will watch a Sherpa town which is loaded up with supplication dividers and little Gompas (Buddhist sanctuaries). Subsequent to following the sloppy street east you will experiences two suspension spans at the base of the valley. The last turn is peaceful beside the east bank of Likhu Khola, crossing one final suspension scaffold to touch base at Kinja (1630m). What’s more, from Kinja, the trail starts a vertical far up switch back up practically vertical slant over the town. The trail climbs steeply up an edge lavishly forested with oak and rhododendron to Sete (2575m). Day 7Trek from Junbesi to Nunthala (2,220m) - 7 hrs trek

On this day, the trail crosses the Junbesi Khola on a wooden extension at 2560m, arriving at a noteworthy trail convergence. Day 8Trek from Nunthala to Kharikhola 2075m, Gomba Danda (2,190m) 6/7 hrs trek

oday from here the fallow proceeds to Dudh Kosi and the trail drops unexpectedly for an hour entirely through blended woods and farmland. The track switches back onwards through fields of grain, wheat and maize to the Rai town of Jubling (1680m). The way took us a moderate far up around a point to the town of Khari Khola. over Night remain at Guest house .

Day 9Trek from Kharikhola to Puiyan Via /Gomba Danda to Surkhe (2,290m/Chheplung 2,800m) - 7/8 hrs trek

Today we across the Kharikhola by crossing suspension bridge at 1930m. The trail makes a vertical climb to Bupsa (2360m), situated among wheat and maize terraces below a dense oak forest. The path ascends through Sherpa villages and a forest inhabited by monkeys, and then winds steeply up and down through the Dudh Koshi canyon to Puiyan. Day 10Trek from Puiyan to Phakding (2610m) - 6 hrs trek

The track moves for about an hour from Puiyan to an edge at 2800m. Going through Lukla Airport pursue a delicate far up the mountainside on the left bank of the Dudh Koshi River. En route you will have a sight of Mt Nupla (5885m), Kusum Kangaru (6367m) and the Mount Kwongde Range. Day 11Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m) - 4 hrs trek

Today Bulkventure Team rest day in Namche Bazaar for suitable acclimatization to the stature. Namche is a well-to-do town arranged in an enormous ensured empty. From the national park base camp over the town, one can take the risk to observe both the dawn and nightfall sees. The stunning display incorporates sublime landscape of the Khumbu pinnacles and extraordinary perspectives on Everest. After breakfast, we can either stroll towards Thami (3810m) over the dazzling Bhote Khola River Valley or decide for setting off to the national park base camp to watch the strange showcases of Sherpa way of life and culture. Day 13Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m) - 5 hrs trek

After breakfast Trek to Kyamjuma then descends slightly to Dudhkoshi at 3250m. This trail is accompanied by the splendid view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse and Mt. Ama Dablam and a very close up view of Thamserku. Between Kyangjuma and Sanasa is virtually the only birch/rhododendron forest of the trek to Lobuche. This trail also gives you an opportunity to spot wildlife musk deer, multi-colored pheasants and a herd of Himalayan Thar. The trail then reaches Sansa, which is a major trail junction to Gokyo valley and Everest Base Camp. After that a steep ascent will bring you to the famous Tengboche monastery. Day 14Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410 m) - 5 hrs trek

After Breakfast Trek start to Dingboche across the river and take a gradual climb up to the valley’s highest year round settlement of Pangboche . Here you can spot several Chortens and Mani walls and small villages as well. You can also get a close of view of Mt. Ama Dablam. In the afternoon we continue ascending to Pheriche from where a fairly moderate walk leads us to Imja Valley. Here, on climbing the last and steepest climb of the day, we finally reach Dingboche. Day 15Acclimatization Day at Dingboche

After breakfast, you can start your trip this is your easy day you climb the ridge on the north behind the village to appreciate the magnificent view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse and numerous other peaks that are visible from Dingboche. The vantage point on the ridge also gives you a chance to observe Imja Khola Valley and the charming fields and pastures of Dingboche. Or, you can visit Chukhung village whise is door of Island Peak climbing and Emajse lake or you can simply spend your day exploring Dingboche Valley. Over Night At Guest House .

Day 16Trek to Lobuche (4,990m) - 5 hrs trek

After breakfast, Trek starts to Louboche with a climb to Dughla through the Khumbu Khola valley. On reaching Dusa, the valley begins to narrow down. We then continue through Phulong Karpo. During the walk you can enjoy Chola Lake and a majestic view of Mt. Pumori , which disappears as the trail descends and curves as we come across a roaring stream. On crossing a small wooden bridge the trail ascends to Dughla. From here, we climb up the steep terminal of the Khumbu Glacier, which offers memorials of Sherpa who perished on the glacier of Mt. Everest. You can also spot other great peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. On leaving Khumbu Glacier behind the train gently climbs up to the Loubuche . over Night at Guest House .

Day 17Trek to Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and back to Gorakhshep (5,140m) - 7/8 hrs trek

Early morning start your trek before Breakfast to climb to Gorak Shep where we check in to Guest House we will have breakfast/lunch and again start to climb up to Everest Base Camp. Having passed the pyramid sign, we can now spot the crest of the north ridge of Everest along with Mt. Pumori, Mt Mahalangur, Mt. Lingtern, Mt Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse and son of snowy mountains. A steep climb up to the top through the torrent of Changri Glacier gives you a glimpse of Kala Pattar. Walking through rocky and glacial trails finally leads to the Everest Base Camp . After reaching the Base Camp you will return to Goreshep for overnight at Guest house .

Day 18Hike to Kala Pattar-Pheriche (5,550m/18,204ft Kala Pattar)/ (4,358m/14,295ft Pheriche)/7-8 hours

Early morning hike to the Kala Pattar. So, we start early in the morning. After walking upwards for a couple of hours you will reach a famous viewing point of Kala Pattar (Black Rock5550m) ,that offers the best views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori and Ama Dablam. The view grows golden with the first light of the day (sun Rise ) which gradually changes back to its original color. We spend some time here appreciating and taking the snaps of the breathtaking snowcapped peaks. Then we hike back to Gorekshep, we will have breakfast and Trek back to Pheriche .overnight at Guest House .

Day 19Trek to Namche (3,440m) - 6 hrs trek

After breakfast Trek back to Namche –Bazaar easy downhill till Pangboche village. Then, the trail drops to the riverside to cross the bridge over Imja Khola and continues to climb up to Tengboche. A steep descent form Tengboche now leads you to the DudhKoshi River. We cross the first bridge over the DudhKhoshi River on our return trip in PhunkiTenga Enjoy Lunch and having passed the village of Tashinga and Sansa, we reach Kyangjuma. Namche bazaar is an easy walk from here. The night will be spent here so that you can enjoy a hot shower/musical bar / , and reference in restaurants, cafes and bakeries. Over night at Guest House.

Day 20Trek to Lukla (2,800m) - 7 hrs trek

After breakfast, the trail drops from Namche Hill to the suspension bridge crossing the DudhKoshi River near the confluence of DudhKoshi and BhoteKoshi rivers. Then we reach Monjo. After some formalities at the check post of National park at Monjo the walk continues to Phakding for lunch. Since this is the last day of your trek we continue our walk to Lukla.Also, most of the tracks are flat which allows you to enjoy open plains, rhododendrons and pine forests, Sherpa village, prayer stones, and flapping prayer flags with very less effort. On reaching Lukla you will be loaded with memories made during the past few days. On reaching Lukla you can often some alone time, or spend your time with other crew members.This is your last day with Sherpa/porters Overnight stay at Guest House .

Day 21Flight back to Kathmandu

Normally flights are always in the morning. You will have plenty of time to enjoy your breakfast while the guide takes care of airport formalities. Your luggage will be taken to the airport by Sherpas and porters. Once the flight arrives, you can directly get into the plane and fly back to Kathmandu enjoy 30 minutes scenic flight. On your arrival to the airport at Kathmandu, a private vehicle will be awaiting to escort you to your hotel. The flight depends on the weather condition. Flight delay or cancellation for the day is a common phenomenon in this region. So, we may have to pay extra charge USD 300-350 for the plane charter so that we will not miss our flight back to Kathmandu

Day 22Final Departure

Today This is your final Departure for own your Destination , we check the list of all necessary documents and goods of our guest. We confirm the flight tickets before 12 hours of departure flight. We advise our guest to put passport and tickets at their handbag for convenience. Bulkventure staff representative will take our valuable guests to the airport (3 hours brfore to your flight) and bid goodbye. It will be not only goodbye, but also the welcome for next visit to Nepal.
